Dr. Mackenzie Lucas, DMD
Dr. Mackenzie was born and raised in Pikeville, KY. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehead State University. After completion of college, she began her dental career at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she successfully completed her dental degree. Feeling the urge to further her career, Dr. Mackenzie then began a two year residency program at the University of Kentucky where she specialized in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Mackenzie is also board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentists. As a mother herself, she recognizes the want for quality dental care in as loving of and safe environment as possible.
Dr. Gregory Bentley, DMD
Dr. Bentley, originally from Pikeville, KY, is a great asset to MPDC! Having worked for over 30 years as a General Dentist, there are few dental situations he has not encountered. He graduated from the University of Louisville with his dental degree in 1991. Dr. Bentley enjoys seeing adolescent patients at MPDC! Not only is he a great dental provider, but he also is quite the jokester and always striving to make others smile.
Amber Smith
Amber is a mom to two beautiful girls with another little one on the way! She loves to spend time watching football with her husband in her free time.
Amber loves that she has an opportunity to make children's view of the dentist something great instead of being fearful. She is one of our wonderful receptionist and always has a bright smile at the check-out desk!
Lauren Blythe
Lauren was born and raised in Louisville KY and moved to Maysville with her Husband in 2020. Lauren enjoys being the first face the kiddos see at check-in and making their dental experience memorable! Her goal when the kids walk in, is to see them smile!
She wants the dentist to be a fun place that children enjoy coming to! Lauren received her Coronal Polishing Certificate from the University of Kentucky in February of 2023. Lauren loves spending time with her dogs, Bella and Simba, and being outside! Lauren has a baby girl, who is her whole world!
Hannah Walker
Hannah Graduated from Mason County High School. She loves spending time with her husband and two kitties. She enjoys seeing all the smiling faces at check out and hearing about the rest of the days adventures once they leave our office. Hannah is happy to have welcomed a sweet baby boy- Easton, in November, 2022!
Courtney Brown
Courtney was born and raised in Maysville, KY. She graduated in 2019 from Medquest College in Lexington, KY. In 2019, she graduated with her Expanded Function Dental Assistant License as well as her Kentucky Radiation Safety and Technique License. Courtney also went to the University of Louisville to obtain her Coronal Polishing Certification. It is her passion to work with children and she loves every minute of it. Courtney loves being apart of MPDC and seeing all the familiar faces of her hometown!
Kelsey Allen
Kelsey was raised in Fleming County, KY. She completed her dental education at the Institute of Dental Technology in Lexington, Ky in 2018. She went on to get her coronal polishing certification in Louisville, KY. Kelsey loves making the kids feel safe and special when they come to the dentist! Kelsey has two boys of her own and enjoys taking them on trips and adventures in her free time.
Destiny Conn
Destiny graduated from Fleming County High School. She completed her dental education at the Institute of Dental Technology in Lexington, KY in 2020. She went to get her coronal polishing certificate in Louisville, KY. Destiny loves peeking at the world through a child’s eyes! Destiny has a daughter and son of her own that are her world!
Courtney Hitt
Courtney was born and raised in Maysville Ky
She completed her dental education at MedQuest College in Lexington Ky. She graduated with her Expanded Function dental assisting license, as well as her radiation safety and technology in 2020. She will later obtain her Coronal polishing Certificate. Courtney has had a passion for children her whole life and dreamed of working with children once she chose her career path. Courtney loves being a helping hand to all children who might find coming to the dentist a little scary.
Courtney has four boys and a daughter of her own and enjoys every free moment spent with them. One of Courtney’s goals is to share her knowledge and love with all children and let them know that it’s okay to be a little afraid but to take the step forward anyway. She loves being apart of the MPDC team.
Sydney Frye
Sydney graduated from Mason County High School. She then went on to continue her education at MedQuest College in Lexington, KY and graduated in 2022. Sydney obtained her Coronal Polishing Certificate in July of 2023 from the University of Kentucky. She loves spending time with her doodle, Blaze!
Sydney enjoys working with a great group of girls, and having the chance to boost kids confidence after coming to our office!
Abigail Christiansen
Abigail graduated from Fleming County High School. She then continued her education and received her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant license in 2018 at the Institute of Dental Technologies, in Lexington KY. She is married to her Husband Cole, and they have one amazing daughter, named Avery. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Madison Marzicola
Madison was born and raised in Lewis County, and moved away and then moved to Augusta in 2020. She graduated in Feb of 2023 with her EDDA Certification, along with obtaining her Coronal Polishing certification in March. Madison loves working with kids and being able to make their smiles shine bright! She says "being able to be apart of MPDC and the great family that works there as well is an amazing feeling."
She is a Mama to 2 sweet girls!
Millie Lucas
Millie is in training to be a therapy dog for the office! She loves giving her paw, saying hello to kids when they walk into the lobby! Millie loves playing with her ball, running outside, and being the sweetest girl!
